2025 Summer Jobs
The Springfield Water and Sewer Commission is hiring summer workers.

Pay is $18/hour. A high school diploma is required. Please be sure to read the requirements for the position(s) that you are interested in. A list of positions including the work schedules is listed below.
There will be a paid orientation day on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, and the regular work schedule will begin that week. Summer workers are expected to work for 10 weeks.

Available positions:
- West Parish Filters in Westfield and Borden Brook in Blandford at the water treatment plant and reservoir - groundskeeper/landscaper and general laborer (M-F 7:00-3:30). Preference for applicants who have experience operating landscaping and other outdoor equipment. This is an outdoor position (all weather). There are 2 positions available.
- Communications at Bondi's Island - general office assistant work including file organization, assisting with generating and with sending out communications, assisting with coordination of meetings, program, and events (2-3 days/week; days and times TBD). Preference for applicants who have very strong writing and speaking skills, are well-organized, and can manage multiple assignments at once.
- Information Technology at Bondi's Island - general IT work including data entry, moving and setting up equipment, and occasional outdoor work (up to 24 hours/week M-F days and times TBD). Preference for applicants who are interested in IT.
